Fingerprints of Man: Preserving the Story

Places are allowed to change. It’s good for them. Who knows, but that a structure itself longs to change as we do – returning to former grandeur, expanding its purpose, or closing the chapter on a story in which it never wanted to partake. Yet, history should be preserved – sometimes within the structure itself. When not feasible or beneficial, history can live on in the careful documentation of its current state. Photographic services by Lindsay Marie Zingg center around capturing the story of a place artistically and authentically, recording the fingerprints of man.
